Sinton – Mencho “Mickey” Davila passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018 with family by his side. He was 81. Mickey was born in Sinton, Texas on December 19, 1936 to Julia (Alfaro) and Amado Davila.

He as a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas where he retired from H & K Construction as a Pipeline Foreman. Preceding in death is his wife: Stella Adams Davila; sons: Virginio Gomez, Jr. and Alonzo Gomez; daughter: Elisa Candelario; and grandsons: Oscar, Peter and Ronnie Candelario. Survivors include sons: Rudy Davila and Gilbert Gomez (Yolanda), both of Sinton, Texas; daughter: Eloisa Salinas of Seguin, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren; sisters: Amanda Sanchez of Sinton, Texas and Tomasa Martinez (Florentino) of Brownfield, Texas.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Thursday, September 20, 2018, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A prayer service will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home with Pastor Mateo Rendon officiating. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018, 9:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev.

Tom Dietzel officiating. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton. Guestbook available online at www.
