Obituary for Meridith “Sue” Potts (Schnell) Meridith “Sue” Potts Meredith “Sue” Potts, 81 of Maumee, Ohio passed away October 3, 2018 in The Elizabeth Scott Community. Sue was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 18, 1936 to Robert and Claryene (Fleming) Schnell. After retiring from teaching in the Maumee Public Schools, she dedicated much time and energy to the Toledo Symphony Guild, Toledo Road Runners and Metro Parks where she found her greatest love, The Swan Creek Day Breakers serving coffee, goodies and friendship for 24 years.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1979; and brother, Terry Schnell. Surviving are her sisters, Judy (Tom) Ford, Dianne Baumhower, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Private services will be held at a later date.
