Obituary for Mervin Gale Anderson Bluefield, VA- Mervin Gale Anderson, 89, of Bluefield, VA and formerly of Princeton, WV, died Sunday September 9, 2018 at Westwood Center. Born January 23, 1929 in Hilltop, WV, he was a son of the late Henry Carl Anderson and Lydia French Anderson. Mr. Anderson was an Accountant at Flat Top Insurance and had worked for several Honda dealerships.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict, and he was a Bronze Star recipient. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Dove Anderson; two sons, Merv Anderson and Denny Anderson; brothers, Henry Anderson and Harry Anderson; and grandsons, Brandon James Tolliver and Cameron Tolliver. Survivors include his children, Susan Tolliver of Bluefield, WV, Rick Anderson of Bluefield, WV, and Jeff Anderson of Salem, VA; sister, Frances White of Princeton, WV; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
