Obituary for Patsy M. Selbee Bluefield, WV- Patsy Lee Selbee, 88, of Bluefield, WV, died Tuesday October 16, 2018 at her home. Born August 6, 1930 in Grundy, VA, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Mahoney and Blanch Stimson Mahoney. Mrs. Selbee was a graduate of Beaver High School.

She had worked for AEP, PEMCO, and First National Bank. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and also liked camping.

She loved music and dancing and played the piano. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Nelson Selbee. Survivors include her children, Matt Selbee and wife Helen of Bluefield, and Jamie Selbee and partner Marsha Berger of Tempe, AZ; two grandchildren, Will Selbee, and Martha Selbee Morris and her husband Jeremy and their children Harper Grace and Caroline Faith.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday October 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from First Christian Church, Bland Road, Bluefield, with Pastor Doug McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Will Selbee, George Smith, Ronnie Hypes, and Allen Neal will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bluefield Union Mission, 2203 Bluefield Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701.
