Obituary for Lewin Lendall Boice Lewin “Lee” Boice of 411 Memorial Ave Bluefield, WV died at his home on November 3 after a brief illness. Mr. Boice was born in Camp Creek WV November 24, 1929 to Lendell O. Boice and Audrey Lusk Boice. Mr. Boice was a graduate Bluefield High School and served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955 while stationed in Norman, Ok and Norfolk, VA.

Mr. Boice worked the majority of his life with National Electric Cole and the City of Bluefield, WV. Mr. Boice was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sarah Rebecca Boice as well as a sister Marlene Gills. He is survived by his son Tim Boice of Bluefield, WV.

Vickie Hall and husband Cline of Greenville, NC, Brothers Leslie and Marty Boice both of Ormond Beach, FL, Brother in Law Ralph Gills of Bluefield, WV as well as 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 2:00PM at Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Perry Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
