Miae Hanson, age 73, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Linda E. White Hospice House. Miae was born August 10, 1945, in South Korea, to the late Haun Sung Kim and Sun Ae Haun. She was a member of Korean Baptist Church.

Miae loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She had a huge heart, and she loved to help everyone. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert G. Hanson; sister, Chang Cha Washington (Marcellus); children, Hae Ok Krietzer (James), Chang Ho Kim, Sung Kim, Sandra A. Denning (Jeremy) and Robert S. Hanson (Brandi); grandchildren, Donald, Johnny, Miae, Shawn, Ashley, Brooklynn, Kimber, Angel, April, Anna, Azia, and Ho Sung; 8 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Schwambach officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
