Michael Felix Swaringen, 58, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home. Mr. Swaringen was born February 3, 1960 in Stanly County to the late John Ray Swaringen and the late Georgia Ledbetter Swaringen. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Leigh Swaringen.

The family will receive friends from 3:00PM – 4:45PM, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 5:00PM at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Father Peter Fitzgibbons. At other times, the family will receive friends at 526 Arlington Ave, Albemarle.

Survivors include wife, Tammy Swaringen; grandsons, Michael Lorin Swaringen and Peyton Ray Herrin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle c/o of Michael Felix Swaringen. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Swaringen family.
