Obituary for Michael Cipov Michael Joseph Cipov, 71, husband of Patricia Turner Cipov, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia. Born July 27, 1947, in Chetek, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Joseph G. Cipov and the late Vila Palmer Cipov. Mr. Cipov served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was co-owner and founder of Cipov Enterprises Inc. until his retirement. Survivors include his wife of Sumter; one son, John Cipov, Sr. (Michelle) of Wedgefield; one grandson, John Cipov, Jr.; one sister, LuAnn Richardson of Sumter; one brother, Mark Cipov of Elkhart, Indiana; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
