Christopher Lee Chailland, age 56, of Piney Flats, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1, 2019, from Holston Valley Medical Center. Christopher was born in Flint, MI, and was a son of the late Gary and Sylvia Samples Chailland. He has worked as a drywall hanger in the past.

Christopher was a loving husband and father and was a member of the Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ. He enjoyed collecting sport cards, loved old cars, in particular his Monte Carlo. Those left to cherish his memory include, his wife of 29 years, Donna Chailland, of the home; a daughter, Tabitha Lynn Chailland, of Grey; two brothers, Michael Scott Chailland, and Todd Matthew Chailland, both of AZ.

A graveside service to honor the life of Christopher Chailland, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 6, 2019, in the Edgefield Cemetery, Pickens Bridge Rd. Piney Flats, active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 A.M. on Monday.
