Obituary for Michael Ray Rucker Michael R. Rucker Michael Ray Rucker, age 66, passed from this world into the arms of the Lord on Monday, October 22nd, 2018. He was born on February 5th, 1952 in Gallipolis to the late Kenneth and Willa Mae (Allie) Rucker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Johnson, brother, Larry Rucker and brothers in law, Don Darst and Lole “Birdie” Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diana; sister, Carolyn Darst; mother in law, Delores Surface; sons, Michael and James Rucker; daughters, Elizabeth (TC) Post and Christy (Steven) Swanson; sister in law, Barbara Rucker; stepsons, Rick (Shirael) Johnson and Christopher (Valerie) Johnson; grandchildren, Kristen, Michael, Katie Rucker, Trenton, Colton, Briana Post, Sophia, Mackenzie Swanson, Talon, Trace and Nora Johnson; special nephew, Kevin ( Debra) Darst; several nieces, nephews and friends. Michael served in the US Army and worked at the Paper Mill for 27 years. He was a retired maintenance technician for CBRE.

He loved to hunt, camp and vacation at the beach. Arrangements were entrusted to O.R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. Visitation is pending.
