Obituary for Michael Ray Stevens Michael Ray Stevens was born on May 29, 1976 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Peggy Stevens. Michael passed away on September 17, 2018 in Plano, Texas at the age of 42. Michael attended school in Boswell, OK.

He was a member of the Choctaw Nation and he enjoyed watching football, basketball and baseball. But most of all he loved to spend time with family and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandmother, Etta Mae Stevens; uncle, Harry Stevens Phillips and step father, Don Sanders.

Michael is survived by his mother, Peggy Stevens of Boswell, OK; brother, Clifford Sanders of Boswell, OK; sister, Pamela Hayes and husband Brad of Ft. Sill, OK; long time companion, Zenetta Watkins of the home; step daughter, Courtney Watkins; grandfather, Edgar Ray Stevens; grandchildren, Adreanna and Preston Watkins; nieces and nephews, Catelyn Prom, Shae Sanders, Aiden Sanders, Josie and Karlie Hayes, Aubree and Zoelle Prom and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel.

Interment will follow in Good Springs Cemetery with Brad Hayes, Dewight Vanderveen, Charlie Stevens, Lee Free and Brandon Walker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Manar, Preston Watkins and Shea Sanders. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Funeral Service on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.
