Obituary for Michael Robert “Mike” Fuhrmann Fuhrmann, Michael R., age 59, of Chanhassen-Belle Plain, died on 11/29/2018. He was a gentle, friendly, intellectually disabled man who depended on others for everything. During his formative and adult life, Choice, a Hennepin County agency, helped him develop his limited talents in a day program.

His last seventeen months were spent at Lutheran Home-Hope Residence, an intermediate care center providing specialized services for the intellectually disabled. Both agencies provide superior programs with compassionate, competent staff dedicated to the well-being of their clients and residents. Hope is like a large family where “the soul of care is the care of the soul”.

We are grateful for the care Michael received; it could not have been better. Michael is survived by his parents Ralph and Margaret Fuhrmann, and siblings John Fuhrmann, Patricia (Michael) Neal and Daniel (Renate) Fuhrmann. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Church of St. Hubert, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen, with visitation starting at 10 AM.

Luncheon following Mass. Internment Calvary Cemetery, HY 60 east of Waterville in the afternoon. Rest in peace, Michael, you have earned your eternal reward.
