Obituary for Michael Willis “Mickey” Prendergast Michael Willis “Mickey” Prendergast, 49, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born Nov.

28, 1968, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime Lake County resident, living in Mentor the past 20 years. Mickey attended St. John Vianney Church in Mentor, and had a great sense of humor, quite the practical joker. He was also a great Irish Step Dancer and enjoyed gambling, bowling and golf.

He was the beloved husband of Shannon D. (nee Senger) Prendergast; loving father of Michael W. “Baby Mick” Prendergast, Billy T. M. Predergast, Sierra R. Prendergast and Peyton J. Prendergast; cherished grandfather of Isabella R. Prendergast; dear son of Betty J. (nee Herman) Prendergast; brother of Rae Marie (Jim) Cooper, Martin Duffy (Darlene) Prendergast Jr., Mary Patrick (Dan) Prendergast-McKenna, and Janet Kathleen Prendergast (Robert McVicker Jr.); uncle and great-uncle of many. Mickey also leaves many union brothers of Union G555. Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Martin D. “Marty” Prendergast in 2017.

Family and friends are asked to meet at St. Jerome Church, 15000 Lake Shore Blvd. , Cleveland for a prayer service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be private.
