MICHAEL C. KEITH February 21, 1977 ~ June 12, 2018 Michael C. Keith of La Center, WA passed away June 12, 2018. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved life to the fullest and enjoyed anything outdoors.

He coached his sons in baseball and soccer. He had a zest for fishing, camping, hiking, golf, and the beach. He was born in Cheyenne, WY and graduated from high school in North Platte, NE, class of 1995.

He attended the Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and University of Nebraska Agriculture School in Curtis, NE. He was a fire sprinkler fitter and a member of UA#669. He was employed by McKinstry Inc

He is survived by his wife, Shanna; 2 sons, Michael age 13 and Carson age 11; his mother, Christine and stepfather, Gaylord “Punky” Poff of La Center; his stepmother, Mary Keith of Omaha, NE; his grandfather, Jerry McIntosh and grandmother, Marion Keith both of North Platte, NE; two sisters, Nicole Judd of La Center and Jennifer Poff of North Platte; two brothers, Joey Poff of Sacramento, CA and John Keith of Omaha; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael L. Keith of Omaha; and grandmother, Dona McIntosh of North Platte. His mantra was “Trials and Tribulations, Laughter and Love, Life is a beautiful thing”.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thurs. , June 21st at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Chapel. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Michael Keith, please visit our Tribute Store.
