Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. Age 75 years. The daughter of the late William and Rosemary (Lovay) Singer, Michelle was born April 17, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She married the love of her life Ted Nalazek on May 22, 1965. He survives her to cherish her memory after 54 years of marriage. Michelle earned her LPN at Mercy Hospital in Bay City.

She continued her education and earned her Associates and RN Degree at Delta College and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Saginaw Valley State University. She was employed at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital until her retirement in 2001. Michelle was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

She enjoyed reading, vacations to Marco Island and basking in the sun. Most of all she loved spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving besides her husband Ted are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Kevin Nalazek and his fiancée Debbie DeWolf, Saginaw; Chris Nalazek and Heather Baade-Nalazek, Saginaw; Teressa and Daniel Meldrum, Saginaw; five cherished grandchildren, Kazmira, Sevrin, Sakarah, Chelsea and Nicholas; brothers and sisters, Kathryn Meronek, Len Singer, Maryanne Sutter, Beth and Cam Rondo, Karen and Mark Geno, Bill and Diane Singer, Paul and Mary Singer, Joanne and Robert Blaesser, Michael and Joanna Singer, John and Sheri Singer, Laura and Jeff Johnson, Julie Singer Chevela and Chris Chevela; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jake Nalazek, Mary and Paul Jezowski; many nieces and nephews.

Michelle was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie Abbe. Michelle’s family extends their gratitude and appreciation to Compassus Hospice and Bickford Assisted Living for their loving and compassionate care. Honoring Michelle’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street in Saginaw. Michelle’s sister, Mrs. Karen Geno will preside. Friends may visit at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
