Mildred Eva Bowen, 89, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home. Mildred was born on June 30, 1929 to Martin and Myrtle Bradshaw in Berryville, Arkansas. She cherished her time with her family and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Bowen; one grandson, Joseph Bowen; a brother, Joyl Bradshaw; and two sisters, Cliffie Douglas and Ima Jane Bradshaw. She is survived by her son, Joy Bowen and wife Sheila of Lowell, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Heather Bowen and Brandon Bowen both of Bentonville, Arkansas; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Danny Bradshaw and wife Wilma and Russell Bradshaw and wife Ulena all of Harrisson, Arkansas; two sisters, Maxine Strough and husband Bert of Berryville, Arkansas and Dee Houser and husband Bill of Springfield, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10:00am at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel. Rev. CW Doss will officiate the service with burial following at Bluff Cemetery.
