Obituary for Mildred Marshall Mildred Miller Seldomridge Marshall, age 81, of 208 Gristmill Drive, Forest, Virginia and formerly of Covington, Virginia died Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Forest. She was born April 6, 1937 in Frankford, West Virginia to the late Summers and Betty Phillips Miller. Along with her first husband, Gene Seldomridge, she owned and operated the former Western Auto Store in Covington.

She was also a store clerk for the former Downer Hardware of Covington. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and loved traveling to the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Eugene Seldomridge and her second husband, Aaron Theodore Marshall, as well as four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Patty Nicely and husband Kevin of Daleville, and Pam S. Wise and husband Ed of Forest; a son, Mike Seldomridge and wife Linda of Covington; a sister, Betty McCutcheon of Lewisburg, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Brittany Elmore and husband Timmy, Ryan Nicely and wife Gioia, Lucas Wise, and Lauren Wise; four great grandchildren, Mazi Elmore, Meirco Elmore, Giada Nicely and Cristiano Nicely; a number of nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Vickie Chafin. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Ronnie Miller and Pastor Billy Price officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington.

Pallbearers will be Tim Elmore, Jim Miller, Jim McCutcheon, John McCutcheon, Ryan Nicely, and Lucas Wise. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Barnett, Corky Downer, Bill Kelly, and Ron Seabolt. The family will visit with friends on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
