Milton A. McIntosh (“Mack” and “Grady”) of Gary, Indiana was born December 4, 1938, in Forrest City, Arkansas. He departed this life for a better one on Monday, July 2, 2018. Milton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Willa McIntosh, father, William McIntosh, mother, Carrie Dent, sons, Milton, Jr. and Stanley Culley, brother, Vernon Powell (Estella), sister, Martha Goins, sister-in-law, Christine Dent and son-in-law, Dean Johnson.

Milton retired from the City of Gary Parks Department, and was also employed at the Budd Plant, Rockwell International, and alongside his late brother, Vernon at Vernon’s The Odyssey 3000 club in Gary. He was a veteran of the United States Army receiving an Honorable Discharge in December of 1967. Milton was a master carpenter and he spent his spare time renovating his home and the homes of many relatives and friends.

Milton leaves to cherish his memory, Loving children: Victoria (Arthur) White, Deborah McIntosh, Lee (Chiquitta) Davis, Denise Carneygee, Margaret Culley, Teresa Johnson and Trina Dorsey (Caregiver). Paw-Paw Milton, as he was affectionally called, was blessed with 25 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and special friend, Bertha Richardson. Left to carry on the strong brotherhood, are his dear brothers, Willie (Maxine) Johnson, and Joseph (Janice) Dent, as well as, loving sisters, Sally Medley, Delores McIntosh and Patricia Tomlin.

He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins and dear friends.
