Obituary for Mindy A. Weppner Mindy A. Weppner 63, of Naples passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018 after a long and courageous 9-year battle with cancer, at Avow Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Mindy was born June 2, 1955 in Riverdale, New York the daughter of the late Ralph Schinasi and Muriel (Barber) Schinasi who survives. She had been a resident of Naples since 1997 moving from Pomona, New York.
Mindy chose to retire in 2016, in order to focus on her health, from Moorings Park where she had spent 16 years working in the Human Re Department. She loved to bowl and loved to shop seeking out the best deals she could find between Bonita Springs and Naples. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Weppner of Naples, FL; son, Matthew Weppner of Chicago, IL; daughter, Brittany Weppner of Ft.
Myers, FL; her brother, Mark Schinasi of Hewitt, NJ; nephew, Mark Schinasi, Jr. and her niece, Michelle Schinasi. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 5:00 PM at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So. Tamiami Tr.
, Bonita Springs. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 PM until the time of service. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at the funeral home.
