Obituary for Frank C. Mencini Frank C. Mencini 78, of Naples, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was born June 20, 1939 in Cleveland, OH a twin son of the late Louis E. and Josephine (Vignone) Mencini. Frank was a successful business owner and formed F.C. Mencini & Associates which specialized in the sales and distribution of electrical and cable products for the mining industry.
He retired in 2000 and moved to Naples as a full time resident at that time. He was a faithful parishioner and communicant at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, FL, and lived out his faith daily in the many kindnesses and light he brought to others. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Charlene H. Mencini of Naples, FL; five children, Marijo Mencini of Raleigh, NC, Gregory F. Mencini and his wife, Sandy of Pittsburgh, PA, Lori A. Haley and her husband, Rob of Birmingham, AL, Frank C. Mencini and his wife, Sue of Ashburn, VA and Christine A. Waldrip and her husband, Greg also of Ashburn, VA; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A consummate family man, Frank will be best remembered for the way he loved his family and brought laughter and joy to all of their gatherings. He leaves an imprint on the hearts of all of his children and grandchildren and his legacy will carry on through each of them. A loving husband of 57 years, he adored his wife Charlene and provided a wonderful role model of commitment and devotion.
Frank also showed us what being a true friend means as he treasured the many life-long friends that were like family to him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, John Mencini in 2014. A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 625 111th Ave.
