Miriam J. (Reigle) Gilbert, 87, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born Monday, February 8, 1932 in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Beulah (Weaver) Reigle. Miriam enjoyed traveling, gambling, playing bingo but above all, enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by two daughters: BJ Johnson, wife of William C. Johnson, of Landisburg, PA and Shirl A. Brinser, of Florida. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy M. Fite.

A Celebration of Miriam’s life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 51 Mill Road, Middletown, PA 17057. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
