Miss Miriam Melissa Benge, age 60, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born on August 27, 1957, to the late Lonnie William Benge and Nellie Virginia Rogers Benge. Miss Benge is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jerry King; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Vicky Benge and Mark and Kelly Benge; nephew, Travis King; niece, Grace King; and special friends, Juanita Petty and Joyce Matthews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie William Benge and Nellie Virginia Rogers Benge and fiancé, Ronnie Richardson. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Kenny King officiating.

Interment will follow in Paul’s Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 27, 2018 one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www. coxneedham.com, www.
