Johnny Leo Smith, age 51, of Westfield, NC, passed away on June 14, 2018. He was born on April 30, 1967 to Nancy Essick Gallant and the late Donnie Leo Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Ann Hiatt Smith; his mother and step-father, Nancy Essick Gallant and Donald Gallant; two daughters, Jessica (Seth) Perry and Lauren (Austin) Johnson; two sons, Chris (Summer) Harp and Jacob (Kaelin) Harp; four grandchildren, John Cooper Perry, Chloe Harp, Madison Harp, and Kinsley Harp; one brother, Eddie (Michelle) Smith; and one sister, Tammy (James) Smith Cockerham.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Roney Daryl Smith. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Friendly Chapel Church at 2 P.M. with Bro. Don Collins and Bro.

D.C. Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Friendly Chapel Church.
