John Wayne Jackson, age 75, of Dobson, NC, passed away on July 14, 2018, at his home. He was born on October 9, 1942 to the late Albert Wayne Jackson and Ann Lee Miller Jackson. Mr. Jackson is survived by his loving wife, Martha Elizabeth Mays; a son, Mark Jackson and wife, Crystal; two daughters, Tammy Jackson and boyfriend, Jeff and Darlene Jennings and husband, Ricky; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Jackson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to John’s two special caregivers, his grandson, Dakota Jackson and his grandson’s girlfriend, Dana Powles. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www.
