Mrs. Lottie Lee Inman Sams, age 84, of Mount Airy, NC, gained her wings on Saturday October 27, 2018 at Surry Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mount Airy, North Carolina. She was born on March 12, 1934 to Paul Lester Inman and Vallie Chilton Inman Mrs. Sams is loved and missed by all of her surviving family; Daughter, Leslie (Mark) McPeak of Mount Airy, NC: Son, Mark (Debby) Sams of Tampa FL, Special Grand children, Patrick McPeak and Landon Sams; Special cousins, Douglas Johnson, Vickie Isaacs and Sandra Paul; Special friends, Annabelle Marion and Rita Martin; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. A special thanks to her caregivers at Surry Health and Rehabilitation Center and Mountain Valley Hospice of Mount Airy who watched over her in her time of need.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 plus years to Leo “Whitie” Sams: father, Paul Lester Inman and mother Vallie Chilton Inman . A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church 116 S. Reeves Mill Rd. Mount Airy, NC at 12:00P.M. with Rev.

Roland McCraw, and Rev. Grant Atkins officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at 11:00 A.M. Flowers are accepted, or donations made to Mountain Valley Hospice in Mount Airy, North Carolina or cemetery fund at New Hope Methodist Church, Pilot Mountain, North Carolina.

Interment will follow at New Hope Methodist Church 874 Ararat Rd. Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www.
