Mrs Betty Lue Nester Badgett, age 90, of North Wilkesboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Curis Nursing Center. She was born on September 7, 1928 to the late Benton Ashby and Sadie Mary Ann Lowe Nester. Mrs. Badgett is loved and will be missed by all her surviving family; two sons, Jack Jr., and wife Donnis Badgett, Gary and wife Regina Badgett; four grandchildren; Guy and wife Rita Badgett, Meghan Letts, Cole and wife Kayley Badgett, Kristy and husband Derek Bryant, six great-grandchildren; Ryan Badgett, Brandon Badgett, Courtney Stallings, Billy Stratton, Payton Bryant, Malin Bryant, and, one great-great grandchild; Zayden Stallings; one sister, Doris Adams; one sister-n-law, Lib Nester.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack Wesley Badgett; parents Benton Ashby and Sadie Mary Ann Nester: great-granddaughter, Tatum Bryant; two brothers, James Nester and Maynard Nester. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers or memorials may be made to Millers Creek Christian School Scholarship Fund, 5100 Boone Trail, Millers Creek, NC 28651 The family will receive friends following service.
