Ms. Patricia Ann Simmons Lawson, age 66, of King, NC, passed away on July 3, 2018, at her home. She was born on November 10, 1951, to Marjorie Jessup Simmons and the late Boyd Edsel Simmons. Ms. Lawson is survived by her mother, Marjorie Jessup Simmons; her children,Tommy Dean Brindle, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Allison Faye Brindle, Elizabeth Ann Sheaffer and husband, Mitchell, Travis Waylon Lawson and girlfriend, Jessi, and Stephanie Renae Buchholz and husband, Justin; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy McCreary, Vickie McKinney and husband, Allen, and Sherri Joyce and husband, Chris; five grandchildren and one on the way, Garrett Dean Brindle, Kaiden Zane Brindle, Lauren Ellary Brindle, Elijah Jacob Rapp, Benjamin Nathaniel Rapp, and Isabella Ann Lawson (on the way); and her loving companion, Robert Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Edsel Simmons. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of Patricia Ann Simmons Lawson to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
