Mrs. Jettie Elizabeth Beck Manring, age 79, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on September 11, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on June 27, 1939, to the late Emmett Roosevelt Beck and Mary Madgeline Jackson Beck. Mrs. Manring is survived by her loving husband, Carl; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Clark Manring and wife, Debbie and Mark Anthony Manring and wife, Anita; four sisters, Rachel Charpiat and husband, Larry, Dot George and husband, Willie, and Shirley Hutchens; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe Beck and wife, Diane; four grandchildren, Jason Manring and fiancée, Elizabeth, Janet Moser and husband, Kelly, Stephanie Emlinger and husband, Zachary, and Brittany Manring Key; two great-grandchildren, Ayden and Aubree Emlinger; and Special Feline, Goldie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Roosevelt Beck and Mary Madgeline Jackson Beck; one sister, Frances Jones; and three brothers, Bobby Beck, Eugene Beck, and Bill Beck. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Paul Sisk officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Foundation. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www.
