Miriam’s Obituary Miriam M. Torres, 59, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Saturday at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident most of her life. Surviving are her mother, Petra Torres; her sister, Luz Colon; her long time companion, Angelo; many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was predeceased by a brother, Miguel Colom. Funeral Services and calling hours will be held on Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM at Iglesia Cristo Redentor Asambleas de Dios, 830 Corbin Ave. , New Britain.

Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
