Missouri M. Springs, 88, wife of the late Samuel Edward Springs, Jr., died Friday, February 22, 2019, at Commander Nursing Center, after an illness. Mrs. Springs was born on February 25, 1930, in Florence County, daughter of the late Robert Wingate McKnight and Bernice Langston McKnight. She was a member of Faith Holiness Church.

Surviving are her son, Samuel “Sammy” Edward Springs, III of Coward; daughter, Susan Springs (Joe) Turner of Pensacola, FL; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Springs was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Matthews. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM, Monday, February 25, 2019, at Lower Lee Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
