Wendy L. Keefe, 61, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at her residence. Ms. Keefe was born on June 1, 1957 in Lake City, daughter of John “Bubba” Keefe and Louise Cockfield Keefe. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and The University of South Carolina.

Wendy was an avid sports fan of Nascar, NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was employed by Fowler Hospitality where she managed various locations throughout North and South Carolina. Wendy loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her father, John “Bubba” Keefe of Longs and her mother, Louise Keefe of Lake City; brother, John Perry (Jennifer) Keefe of Lowell, AR; nieces, Kacey Louise (Joe) Serrano of Fayetteville, AR and Darian Nicole Keefe of Bentonville, AR; nephew, Austin Thomas Keefe of Bentonville, AR and a great nephew, Baylor Scott of Bentonville, AR. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, with burial to follow at Lake City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, prior to the services at the funeral home.
