Joseph Randall Strickland, 65, husband of Nancy Weaver Strickland, died March 6, 2019, at Lake City Community Hospital. Mr. Strickland was born on February 9, 1954 in Florence County, son of Mary Driggers Strickland and the late Joseph K. Strickland. He was Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Randall was a retired truck driver with Baker Transportation. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Surviving in addition to his mother, Mary Driggers Strickland of Olanta, are his wife, Nancy Weaver Strickland of Scranton; children, Christy (Scott) Young Prince of Cartersville, GA, Robert Matthews of Pamplico, Christy (Clay) M. Rogers of Lake City and Jacquline (Ryan) Lahn of Hemingway; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Martha (George) Prince of Olanta; brothers, Ervin (Remona) Carraway of Olanta and Ted (Ennis) Strickland of Reevesville, SC.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church, Olanta, with burial to follow at Beulah Free Will Baptist of Pentecostal Faith Church Cemetery, on Old #4 Hwy. , Scranton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
