Bobby Elliott Wise, 83, husband of Charloise Lee Wise, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence. Mr. Wise was born on March 20, 1935 in Florence County, son of the late Robert Coy Wise and Gladys Harrell Wise. After retiring from the United States Air Force, Mr. Wise began a career with the United States Postal Service where he served in many capacities, retiring in 1992.

Surviving are his wife, Charloise Lee Wise of Florence; daughters, Sandra (David) Benson, Carolyn Worrell and Elizabeth (Hal) Fuller, all of Florence; step daughter, Debbie Lee Matthews of Florence; step daughter-in-law, Rachel Lee of Timmonsville; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; special nephew, Bob (Dottie) Bowman; special friends, Mitchell and Linda Miles, and Dewey and Dale Isgett; and caregiver, Emma Williams. Mr. Wise was preceded in death by his stepson, Ray Lee; and his sister, Doris Bowman. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, at Carolina Funeral Home, prior to the services. The family would like to extend a special thanks to McLeod Hospice Nurse, Shan Brown and all the staff of McLeod Hospice House.
