Gerald Bruce “Jerry” Flowers, Sr., 76, husband of the late Jennifer Holliday Flowers, died Saturday, May 25, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence. Mr. Flowers was born on June 29, 1942 in Florence County, son of the late Herbert Flowers and Dove Turner Flowers. He was a graduate of Pamplico High School and a member of Mt.

Elon Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Flowers was a retired farmer and co-owner of Flowers and Sons Farms. He was a member of Pamplico Masonic Lodge # 324, Omar Shriners, WOW and he enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are his sons, Gerald Bruce (Donna) Flowers, Jr. of Pamplico, Jody Flowers of Charlotte, NC and Shon Patrick (Susan) Flowers of Timmonsville; grandchildren, James Scott (Lindsey) Flowers, Angel Whitney Flowers, Jarrica (Derek) Sports and Jarrett Leviner; great grandchildren, Lawson Flowers, Drake Frazier, Tallan, Tavner and Avery Sports; special friend, Libby Cribb of Hemingway; brothers, Ray (Carolyn) Flowers, Richard (Vernell) Flowers and Mike (Gail) Flowers, all of Pamplico. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Mt. Elon Free Will Baptist Church, Pamplico.

Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Pamplico. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 950 Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
