Buena Miles McAllister, 83, wife of the late Billy McAllister, died Friday, March 1, 2019, at her residence, after an illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Scranton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, at Carolina Funeral Home, prior to the services.

Mrs. McAllister was born in Florence County on July 10, 1935, daughter of the late Bob Miles and Carrie Kirby Miles. She retired from Coleman and was a member of the Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a former teacher of the Adult Sunday school class. Mrs. McAllister enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Surviving are her daughter, Pam (Tony) Odom of Scranton; granddaughters, Heather (Ryan) Brewer and Staci Odom, both of Scranton; sisters, Rose (Danny) Kent of Waynesboro, Ga and Barbara Davis of Florence; sister-in-law, Sally (Frank) Graham; and her fur baby, T.J. Mrs. McAllister was preceded in death by a son, Tony Mack McAllister; three brothers, Robert Miles Jr., Sam Miles and Rev. Reese Miles; sisters, Carrie Mae Godwin and Emmie Coker.

The family would like to thank McLeod Hospice, Dr. Steven Askins and staff at the Palmetto Primary Care, and the Lake City Community Hospital Doctors and staff for their excellent care and concern. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, 1203 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.
