OBITUARY Moira H. (O’Connor) Carpino July 5, 1936 – January 22, 2019 Moira Harriet (O’Connor) Carpino, 82, of West Hartford, beloved wife for 50 years of Richard J. Carpino, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Moira was born in London, England on July 5, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Johanna (Donahue) O’Connor. Moira worked in England for the Prudential Insurance Company and Hey Presto Fabrics in London, and as an executive secretary in America.

She graduated from Our Lady of Sion Convent School and Pittman College in London. Moira was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Hartford. She was truly a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

She leaves her husband Richard; daughters, Johanna M. Carpino of West Hartford and Theresa A. Ottenhof, son-in-law, Jan Ottenhof and granddaughter, Camille Ottenhof, all of San Francisco, as well as several dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael O’Connor of Southsea, England. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (January 26) at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 872 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford.

Everyone is asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will immediately follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
