Blanch, NC – It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Monnie Lula Allen Jones of 1603 Old Satterfield Rd. Blanch, NC, who passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was a native of Caswell County, NC, the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Allen and Lula Stephens Allen, born October 27, 1937.

She was a member of River Zion Baptist Church and she was employed as a financial aid administrator at Howard University before retirement. . She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alean Allen Rush Jackson and Cleddie Allen Potts; one brother, Rasco Allen.

Her survivors are husband, Edward G. Jones of the home; one sister, Lona Sherdean Allen Hayes of Greensboro, NC; a host of other relatives and friends. * In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to River Zion Baptist Church in memory of Monnie A. Jones.
