Obituary for Mr Robert Vincent Ford Ford – Robert “Pork Chop” Vincent Ford, age 45, of Melrose, Florida passed away on July 11, 2018 at work in Melrose, FL. Robert was born in Key West, Florida on October 9, 1972 to Robert Casper Ford and Kathryn Ann Blanchard. He was raised in Putnam County and graduated from Interlachen High School in 1992.

Shortly after graduation, Robert married his high school sweetheart, Laura Ann Ford, and was blessed with their daughter, Katie Lynn Ford. When Robert wasn’t working, he surrounded himself with family and friends and was always the “Life of the Party”. In addition, nothing could get between him (Grandad) and his grandson, Robert Fischer Gager, as he was always his biggest supporter and friend.

Robert has made an impact on many lives throughout Melrose, Florida and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Lynn Ford. Robert is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Ford of Melrose, FL; daughter, Katie (Ryan Gager) Lynn Ford of York, SC; parents, Robert (Linda) Ford and Kathryn Ann Blanchard both of Melrose, FL; brothers, Donald James (Nancy Marie) Ford and Timothy James Ford both of Melrose, FL; his grandchildren, Robert Fischer Gager and Oaklynn Hunter Gager; nephews, Robert (Brittany Evangeline) Ray Ford and Ricky Everett Keen both of Melrose, FL; niece, Sydnie Shea Keen of Melrose, FL; and numerous other relatives and close friends.

A Graveside Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at Eliam Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. John Roth officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services and Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel, Starke, Fl. 904-964-5757.
