Obituary for Muriel Gray GRAY, Muriel Elaine – 88 years (almost), of Cape May, NJ and formerly of Media, PA. November 12, 1930 – November 8, 2018. Muriel was known for her brilliant smile and vivacious personality, as she always made others comfortable and was genuinely interested in their life story and aspirations.

She received her BS in Business from Drexel University and was an award-winning Real Estate Agent until reaching 77 years old. She retired to Cape May and, as a natural networker, she became active in the Soroptimist Club, the Yacht Club, her Book Club and the Garden Club. She adored her family and they spent much time laughing, traveling and spending time rocking on her porch.

She was very philanthropic and donated to multiple charities, as it was always important to her to give back. She loved her life and was particularly grateful for her husband of 60 years (George Gray deceased 2016), Daughters (Kelly Gray and her husband Rob Moffett, and Lisa Gray and her boyfriend Kevin Maiden), her grandsons (Joseph Gray Dignazio and Anthony Gray Dignazio), her granddogs (Ben, Max and Bear) along with their family’s plethora of friends. Muriel’s visitation and memorial ceremony will take place in the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May, on Saturday, November 17th with visitation from 9:30am – 11:00am and a remembrance service planned for 11am.

Marine Corps Military Honors will take place thereafter.
