OBITUARY Myrtle L. Hogue November 4, 1926 – July 27, 2018 Myrtle L. Hogue, born November 4, 1926, in Cullman County to William Robert and Katie Hogan Turrentine departed this life on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Hospice Family Center in Huntsville, AL. She retired from Prestolite Corporation in Decatur. Ms. Hogue was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thurman L. Hogue; and grandchildren Charla and Chad Osborne.

She is survived by her daughters Janice (Charles) Osborne of Cullman and Carol (Mark) England of Falkville; son, Ron Hogue of Cullman; grandchildren Leigh (Kevin) Wahl of Brentwood TN, Kristen (Jeremy) Clute of Huntsville, Chastity (Tim) Gregg of Hartselle, and Kari Osborne of Hoover; step granddaughters Brigette (Todd) Herndon of Decatur and Benita (Mark) Craig of Hatton; great-granddaughters Rylea Presnell, Grace Wahl, and Olivia Gregg; step great-granddaughters Caroline and Lizzie Craig; step great-grandsons Braxton Craig, Tyler Herndon and Alec Herndon; niece Debbie (Steele) Hammond of Leesburg, FL; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home. The funeral service for Ms. Hogue will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem West Baptist Church on Highway 157 W with Pastor Tim Aris officiating.

Burial will follow at Blair Congregational Methodist Church in Vinemont. Pallbearers will be Benton Thompson, Tim Gregg, Nicky Buckelew, James Luker, Benes Schultz, and Steve Lake. Please visit mossservicefh.com to leave condolences for the family.
