OBITUARY Nancy A Fitzsimmons June 21, 1935 – October 4, 2018 Nancy A. (Hannigan) Fitzsimmons – 83, Of Scituate passed away peacefully at the Boston Medical Center on the evening of October 4, 2018 following an illness. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Joseph Edward Fitzsimmons, Jr., who predeceased her in 2015. Nancy was passionate about cooking and gardening and kept a garden of flowers and other plants at her home.

She had a love for all animals and could often be found watching them and feeding them in her yard. She most enjoyed winters spent with her husband at the home they shared together in Hollywood, FL. Nancy is survived by her sister Barbara Bardwell of Southwick, MA and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 10-12 noon at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate with a funeral home service at noon. Following services, a procession will bring Nancy to her final resting place beside her late husband at Blue Hill Cemetery.
