Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Lytle was born December 19, 1941 to parents Virgil and Wilma Mayabb at Quonset Point Naval Hospital, Rhode Island. She was a “Navy Brat” and proud of it. Her youth was spent in multiple places but her family settled in Garland after her father’s retirement from the Navy.

She attended Garland High school and graduated in 1960. Although she lived all over the country she was a self proclaimed Garlandite. She met and fell in love with Freddy Lytle and they were married on February 16, 1962, they shared 53 wonderful years together.

Nancy closed her eyes her on earth on January 20, 2019 surrounded by her 3 daughters and opened them in glory greeted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her husband Freddy and many loved ones that passed before her. She is survived by her Daughters and their husbands, Landee and Scott Young of Garland, April and Dave Vassalli of Garland, and Laura and Ed Anderson of Sunnyvale; Her 10 Grandchildren and their spouses; Brad and Veronica Young, Scott and Annie Young, Dustin Anderson, Tiffany and Chad Morse, Andrew Vassalli, Adam Vassalli, Brandee and Dave Ball, Dustin Calloway , Cody and Nicole Anderson and Katie Vassalli. She also left behind 19 Great grandchildren and 4 Great- Great grandchildren.

Her Brothers and wives; Mike and Vicky Mayabb, Carl and Sandy Mayabb Nieces; Cheryl Madewell, Lindsey Strittmatter, Kelsey Fitzgerald, Stephanie Ridge, Kerri Rowland, Kelli Straight and Kaeci Story. Nephew; Ryan Mayabb And numerous great nieces and nephews. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt but most of all Grandma!

Her grandchildren adored her and grew up knowing that they would also have Grandma on their side, to encourage and love them no matter what. Her unconditional love was so pure and real. She was preceded in death by her husband Freddy, parents Virgil and Wilma Mayabb, sisters Gloria Madewell and Linda Mayabb.

The family will receive visitors at Williams Funeral Home Friday January 25, from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral services will be held at Lavon Drive Baptist Church, at the Coleman Center, in Garland on Saturday, January 26, at 11am, internment to follow at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lavon Drive Baptist Church.
