Nancy Carole Spencer, age 79, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 8:35 A.M. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born in Logan County Ohio February 15, 1940, a daughter of the late Linda Idola (LeVan) Rich. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Ilene Redd and an infant daughter, Margie Louise Spencer.

On May 7, 1960, she married Dwight M. Spencer and he preceded her in death May 21, 2014. She is survived by a step-son, Dwight M. Spencer Jr. of Huntsville, Ohio; a sister, Donna (Ramon “Ray”) Geboy of Bellefontaine; a niece, Joni Price of Bellefontaine; three nephews, Jeff (Alisa) Geboy, Jon Geboy, both of Bellefontaine, and Doug (Melinda) Geboy of Russells Point, Ohio and two special cousins, Steve (Jane) Arbogast and Connie Lowe of Indiana. Nancy was a member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine as well as the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary.

She loved dogs and has had many as pets over the years loving each and everyone of them as her favorite. Her passion was crocheting and had completed hundreds of projects over the years sharing them with her family and friends. Pastor Fred Albert will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Huntsville Cemetery.
