Nancy Denise DaVoult was born May 8, 1964, to Joe Newton and Jean Carroll Barte in Duncan, Oklahoma. She passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was 54 years old.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, at 2:00 P.M. at Bethesda Church of God with Pastor Harold Metheny officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center. Nancy was a 1984 graduate of Duncan High School.

She married Ronald DaVoult on March 14, 2001, in Duncan. She enjoyed watching medical shows on television and working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed painting pictures and playing games on her phone.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Amber Williams. Nancy is survived by her husband, Ronald; son, Stephen L. Newton; two granddaughters; adoptive mother, Penny and husband Guy Smith; brothers, Roger Ivy, Richard Ivy, and Clifton Bernard; sisters, Linda and husband Bob Lesley, Julia Kosechata, Robbin Plummber, Nancy Adkison, and Susan Schroeder; brothers-in-law, James and wife Rebecca DaVoult, Melvin DaVoult and Sharon Arbuckle, and Gary DaVoult; sisters-in-law, Karen Stone and Twila Nelson; nephew, Caleb Plummber; nieces, Becky Lesley and Melinda DaVoult; and her cat, “Rabbit Ears”.
