Shirley Louise Sheaffer was born on August 3, 1928, in Kane, Pennsylvania, to Wells Eugene II and Nell Scott. She passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the age of 90 in Duncan. A private memorial service is being planned at a later time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center. Shirley graduated from high school in Pennsylvania. She was married to Clyde Russell Sheaffer.

To this union, three children were born – Jim, Sandra and Robert. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles. She loved to travel and enjoyed being around people.

Her favorite food was Chips Ahoy® Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies. Shirley is survived by her children, Jim and wife Marilee Sheaffer of Duncan, Sandra Scheinder of Bush, LA, and Robert and Audrea Sheaffer of Slidel, LA; grandchildren, Jeffery Maki of Chino, CA, Jennifer and husband Shawn Marks of Prescott Valley, AZ, Bonnie Sheaffer of Duncan, Nikki Sheaffer and fiance, Tony Brittain, of Marlow, Jessica and husband Eric Folkerts of Bush, LA, Daniel and wife Misty Schneider of Tuscon, AZ, Kirsten Sheaffer, and Alex Sheaffer; and nine great grandchildren with the tenth one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Russell Sheaffer; parents, Wells and Nell Scott; and brother, Wells Eugene “Skip” Scott III.
