Aimee Kathleen Greening was born October 26, 1971, to Fred Greening and Kaye Collier in Norman, Oklahoma. She passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 4, 2019, in Duncan. She was 47.

Family visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, at 5:30-7:00PM at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are pending at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Aimee was a 1989 Duncan High School graduate. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. She was currently employed at Southern Machine Works.

She had previously worked at Halliburton for 17 years and also BlackHawk. She was currently serving as the teacher for the STEM Club at Plato Elementary School. Aimee had a passion for loving people and making people laugh.

She never met a stranger. She was a sports enthusiast. She loved to coach soccer, basketball and softball.

She also loved attending sporting events, especially events involving her children and that involved the OU Sooners, OKC Thunder, and NY Yankees. She also enjoyed underwater diving/snorkeling, fishing and golfing. Aimee married Doddie Greening on October 10, 2014, in Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Lydia Greening and Herman and Audrey Collier. Aimee is survived by her wife, Doddie; children, Kyle Bridgers and Brooke Satterwhite of Moore, Chance Bridgers of Duncan, Kylie Greening of Austin, Texas, Tanner and Pinky Greening of Duncan; grandson, Bexton Wayne Bridgers; mother, Kaye Collier; father and stepmother, Fred and Pamela Greening; grandmother, Nancy Fisher; great grandmother, Gran Fisher; brother, John and Vicky Greening; sisters, Missy Greening and Leah and Justin Evans; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
