Obituary for Nancy E. Lee Nancy E. (Nickell) Lee, 68, of Anderson, passed away after a short illness Friday, November 16, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born June 6, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of Orie Bradley Nickell and Pearl Genevieve Moore Nickell of Stockdale, Ohio. Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Eastern Local High School in Beaver, Ohio and furthered her education by obtaining a degree in education from Ohio University.

She pursued a career in education and retired from Spring View Developmental Center in Springfield, Ohio. Nancy was an avid book reader and collector of books. She loved to travel, visit book stores and frequent coffee shops.

She also wrote poetry and created her own books for the family. Nancy was a beloved individual who was devoted to her family, friends and church. Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother Orie & Pearl Genevieve Nickell, and her husband of many years, Jerry Lee Sr

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lee Robertson; son-in-law, Marlon Robertson of Anderson; son, Jerry Lee Jr. of Springfield, Ohio; grandson, Colin Leamman; granddaughters Sophie Leamman and Madison Leamman Webb; and a great-granddaughter Eve. She is also survived by her sister; Noreen Nickell Grezlik; brother-in-law, Jerry C. Grezlik of Stockdale, Ohio; niece, Christine Grezlik Conley of Titusville, Florida, along with many cousins and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
