Nancy Lee Gouge, age 75, of New Windsor, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, following a brief illness. Born April 4, 1943 in Mt. Airy, she was the daughter of the late Eltee and Pearl Irene Rippeon Norwood.

She was the wife of Jimmie Dean Gouge Sr. who died in 2009. Mrs. Gouge was employed with Springfield Hospital Center for 25 years prior to her retirement. Surviving are children, Pamela M. Fagan of Weaverville, NC, Nancy Lynn Thamarus of New Windsor, Dixie Lee Ridpath and husband Arnold Dean of Monrovia, Vivian K. Hesson and husband Jeffrey of Westminster, Connie M. Bozzell and husband Duane, James D. Gouge II and wife Lisa and Deborah I. Naill, all of New Windsor; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Price and a brother, Martin “Turtle” Norwood. There will be no public visitation.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31 at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertytown, 11802 Liberty Rd. , Frederick, with Pastor Tommy Paris, officiating. Interment will follow in Linganore Cemetery, Unionville.
