MAPSTONE – Nancy M., “Mam,” 88, Richland, died February 10, 2019, at Windber Hospice. Born August 24, 1930, in St. Michael, daughter of James and Anna (Dipko) Ratchford. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William H. “Bill” Mapstone Jr., who died April 23, 2003; sisters, Mary Alice Vivian, Verda Belanto, and Audrey Losada; and brothers, James and Joseph Ratchford.

Survived by daughter, Sherry, wife of Anthony Sinisi, Richland; grandsons, Christopher Watkins, married to Natalie (Zimmer), Southmont; Timothy Watkins, married to Kellie (Lamer), Elton; and Ryan Watkins, Salix; great-grandchildren, Travis, Caleb, Devyn, Dylan, Maxwell, Gage and Emma; sisters, Joan Oyaski; Sun City West, Arizona; Gertrude Ryan, Boswell; Regina, wife of Robert “Muzzy” Blanchetti, St. Michael; and Sandy, wife of James Ambroe, Windber; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a graduate of Adams Township High School, class of 1948. Former member of St. Michael American Legion Post 551, Ladies Auxiliary.

She was an avid sports fan; and enjoyed gambling, traveling and shopping. She was a loving mother and grandmother; we will miss her warm smile, quick wit and cheerful humor. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Father Brian Warchola, Celebrant.
