Nancy M. Roberts, 68, of Milan, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2018 at her home amongst loving family. Services for Nancy will be 1 pm, Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Edgington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family to help pay expenses. Nancy Mae Linder was born on October 9, 1949 in Rock Island, a daughter of Leroy Linder and Eva Terrill Linder.

She married Ted F. Roberts on May 14, 1965 in Guin, Alabama. Mrs. Roberts retired from Illini Hospital, Silvis, where she worked in dietary for 18 years. Nancy enjoyed animals, dancing, reading, sewing (no-one can put in a zipper like she could), and going to her grandchildren’s sporting events where she made it known to be their biggest fan.

Nancy was a strong woman with a heart of gold that selflessly put family first, always. She is missed deeply and will be cherished forever by all who love her. Survivors include her children, Ron (Gayle) Roberts, Milan; Tammy (Ken) Havemann, Edgington; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Dan Luttrell, Arlington, TX; and special “sisters” Emma Marie and Betty Ann.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted; infant daughter, Judy; siblings, Jane Decker, Helen Almanza and David Linder.
